Description
We are seeking a senior-level Principal Data Scientist specializing in Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR) to lead our R&D efforts. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in InSAR technology and a proven track record in advancing the field through innovative research and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead research initiatives to enhance InSAR technology and its applications
- Improve algorithms and methodologies for InSAR data processing and analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate R&D outcomes into product development
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in InSAR and related fields, identifying opportunities for innovation
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the overall growth of the R&D department
Requirements:
- Ph.D. in Remote Sensing, Geophysics, or a related field with a focus on InSAR
- 10+ years of experience in InSAR research and development
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals and conferences
- Expertise in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or C++
- Experience with machine learning and AI applications in remote sensing
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead a team
